What is "The Skinny"?

We want to take the pain out of the process of being promoted from grade to grade through grammar and middle school, and on through high school and into college.

The Skinny will prepare you for Grade School Exams such as the new English Language Arts Grades 4-8 and Math Grades 4-8 tests; for Middle School entrance exams, including the ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, and TACHS; and for High School Exams, especially the SAT, PSAT, and SAT Subject Tests, as well as many New York State Regents exams.

The "ELA 4" is the English Language Arts Test given by New York State Education Department to 4th grade students as one of the requirement for promotion to the 5th grade.
